Holiday Programme
Programme Overview
Throughout this fun week, students will be guided through lessons in dancing, singing, and acting. Students will learn how to combine the three disciplines together to tell a story in a fun and exciting way, culminating with a presentation of their weeks’ work for friends and family.

Six to eight weeks prior to the start date participants/parents will be sent, via email, a detailed timetable and a check list of what we advise the students to bring to this exciting week.

Students will be split into three groups based on their age and abilities on the first day of the programme, our highly experienced teachers do this to ensure that each student has a fulfilling and comfortable week.
Programme Content
Throughout the five day programme, students will enjoy a series of fun and engaging workshops and masterclasses in singing, dancing and acting to produce a friends and family showing at the end of the week.
Dance
Students will be taught a variety of dance genres by extremely sought after and highly credited performers and teachers, all of which are fully vetted by us. Dance styles will include Musical Theatre, Jazz, Classical, West End production and music video repertoire. Our dance teachers teach at some of the U.K's leading vocational performing arts providers and / or perform in West End productions, large artiste arena tours, TV and film.
Sing
Students will be taught various ensemble (group) singing styles including musical theatre and pop / rock. All sheet music will be provided by us and will be delivered by one of our highly trained, technical singing teachers. All of our singing teachers are trained in many vocal styles. They teach at some of the U.K's leading vocational performing arts providers, perfom in West End productions or support well known vocal artists.
Act
Students will be taught different acting techniques often used in musical theatre including story telling, improvisation and voice work. All scripts will be provided by us and delivered by one of our highly qualified and well credited acting teachers. They teach at some of the U.K's leading vocational performing arts providers and perform on both stage and screen.
Programme Faculty
CEI holiday programmes work on a 1 : 20 teacher to student ratio. Each of our faculty members are carefully hand selected from our pool of highly experienced performers and teachers. All CEI holiday programme educators are trained specialists within their field of expertise and have exceptional abilities to deliver their craft to students. The intensive 5 day training programme provides a unique opportunity for students to work closely with working creative professionals from stage and screen.
Example Day Structure
The table below is an example of a typical day at CEI's Performance Holiday Programme. The day will consist of between five and six classes per day, a more detailed timetable will be emailed to each registered student six to eight weeks prior to the programme start date.

Head over to our booking page, select a region that best suits you and choose which holiday programme you would like to attend. Each programme outline will detail the venue, teachers and content, to make your decision a little easier.
Enter your details

Enter your personal details into our online registration form and make payment for your programme. You can take advantage of our flexible payment option by selecting 'Pay in 3', allowing you to spread the cost of the programme over three interest free payments using your PayPal account. As soon as you have entered your personal details, selected your payment method and clicked the 'Submit' button, you will be sent a confirmation email with your booking reference number.

Six to eight weeks prior to your programme start date you will receive an email confirming any learning resources you may want to bring with you such as a notebook, pen, suitable clothing ideas and folders for sheet music and scripts. We will also attach any sheet music / scripts that you will be working on so you can prepare them in a suitable format for your learning. You will also receive a finalised detailed timetable and faculty description.
